Promotions

Cabin Person: Upon request or demotion as a penalty.

Pirate: Rank upon joining.

​

Officer: Request the rank - officer training is available.

Midshipman: A title bestowed on promising officers close to becoming Fleet Officer.

Fleet Officer:

• Expected to play an active part in assisting the crew on voyages, hosting them or being involved with the crew.

• Is knowledgeable about game mechanics.

• And/or recognition for social, puzzle or leadership skills.

Lieutenant: Title bestowed on promising Fleet Officers close to receiving the rank of SO.

Senior Officer.

• Chosen by the Captain.

• Highly skilled, socially engaged or show qualities in leadership.

• Supervises the crew during the absence of the captain.

• Maintains the positive atmosphere of the crew and seeks to settle or calm disputes or high emotions in the chat to prevent drama and toxic behaviour.

• Active and involved with the crew regularly.

• Upholds the crew rules.

Quartermaster:

• A title for the third in command. Will ensure events can run smoothly and will support in handling ships (Xo)

First mate:

• Second in command, heir to Captaincy. A yearly vote will determine the FM, every Senior Officer has a vote in this. General votes allow every crew member to cast their vote.
